The Interim Computer Museum
Here is the August 2025 report! We are open 10-4pm Saturdays, Sundays & Mondays at 998 Industry Drive, Tukwila, WA 98188 to all members by appointment at https://icm.museum This month we participated in VCF West and the World Science Fiction Society convention which drove an increase in remote system access and new members. We also had 79 visitors for the month and logged 342 volunteer hours at the museum. We are looking for volunteers to help with events, system administration and museum activities. Oct 3rd & 4th: Interim Computer Festival Fall 2025 (registration is now OPEN) Two days of Vintage Computing Fun - https://sdf.org/icf We will be at the INTRASPACE events room, Old Rainier Brewery in SODO. Oct 17th-19th: Come see us at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo at the Oregon Convention Center. We're featuring early video games from the 1960s-1980s including Spacewar! Tennis for Two, Colossal Cave Adventure, CHEKMO-II CHESS, Vectrex, Atari Tank II and many others. Thanks to Rob Schmuck and Josh Dersch for helping with this! Nov 28th: Joint exhibit with https://zkm.de to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Thinking Machines: Connection Machine. The CM2 at ICM will be on display beginning in October and we will announce a specific time coordinated with ZKM, but it will be over the holiday weekend.
